For Spring/Summer 13 Craig Lawrence continues to subvert and challenge the notions of knitwear using out-of-context materials in an intelligent and progressive manner.

Inspired by phosphorescent plankton that glow in the ocean at night, the knits fall into four key groups, Aequorea, Urchin, Sponge and Scale. The Aequorea Series comprises of column tiered dresses reminiscent of the fluid shape of the glowing jellyfish, the Urchin knits are a textural take on Craig’s signature ladder stitch, and the Sponge and Scale knits have been developed through working with UK knitwear manufacturers, and the ethereal quality is evident in every piece which makes it so mesmerising. Another standout collection!
