So, I have been growing my stubble for quite a while and I can’t actually remember the last time I had a “clean shave”… Who knows what lies beneath my stubble nowadays, but I digress! We had an opportunity to have a little peak at Wilkinson Swords new campaign, entitled “Sword Play” and as you can imagine its a little steamy… 🙂

I have to be honest, the campaign really made me think about if I truly want to keep my stubble or actually go for a smooth face! I keep hearing clean shaves are back now and its great to see Wilkinson Sword have stepped up their game to showcase how clean shaving can free your skin.. Just like this guy! 🙂

To Shave, or Not to Shave… (1)

If your anything like me, you will no doubt just bite the bullet and try a clean shave, in preparation for summer! So after a little research, I have compiled:

My 5 top tips to master a clean shave with Wilkinson Sword:

1 – Every man *should* exfoliate wether you shave or not. For starters, it helps clear out ingrowing hairs and stimulates your hair follicles so they are not as easily irrupted once shaved
2 – Shave in hot, steamy conditions: Make sure to shave with a very warm wet towel or after a long bath… this will help open your pores and give you the clean-cut look!
3 – Use a great razor: Obviously, Wilkinson Sword owns this market… and If I can achieve a shave as close as the guy in the video I will have succeeded!
4 – For a close shave, use a shaving oil that will allow the blade to slide seamlessly over your skin
5 – Don’t shave with blunt blades… Free your skin!

Take a look at the Wilkinson Sword Campaign below and decide if you would like to master your very own clean cut look!
