A few weeks ago you may have seen that we posted about our hassle-free day exploring London? If not, well… it was a day filled with the most amazing Peruvian food, Parisian Cuisine, great wines and chocolate milkshakes… (I insisted on the latter :-o).
After we had such an amazing, “foody” day, it got me into thinking about how awesome it would be to make this a regular thing… to really savour and enjoy food, while taking the time to make eating more social. Sometimes I can be very rushed while we head around the city and just grab bites to eat where I can… I really want this to change!
I am always looking for new and exciting experiences to have in London… and if it involves food, I’m usually there!!! As if by some wizardry, Yeni Raki got in touch about how they are wanting to bring the slow dining culture, outside of its native Turkey, to London. Yeni Raki, make some of the most delicious aniseed based aperitif that has a rich heritage in Turkey. Working with top London chef, Ollie Dabbous, they have created the most amazing “Raki Table” of foods and delicious treats which encourage slow-dining and the habit of making eating a more tasty treat, with some Raki of course! 🙂
Ollie’s meal looks out of this world delicious… something that I would love to eat and a perfect recipe to make for a great evening out in London! Take a look at his recipe and his delicious meal in the video below. I’m now too hungry for words!
